Trust and responsibility

An AI answer is part of the customer experience. If it is wrong, unfair, or careless with their data, the problem got worse.

Standard

Responsibility is a product requirement

We treat accuracy, privacy, and fair treatment as part of resolution — not a report that sits beside the product.

Commitment

Never invent a fix for a customer

If the knowledge does not support an answer, we say so and hand the problem to a person.

Fair to the customer

The same problem should get the same honest answer, whoever asks, on whichever channel.

Plain language

Replies match how the customer asked, without hiding the policy.

No quiet exclusions

We test whether some customers are resolved worse than others, and we correct it.

A person on request

Customers can reach someone. AI does not trap them in a loop.

Lean systems

Most customer problems do not need the largest model. We use the smallest system that can resolve the case, and we avoid reprocessing data we already understand.

Right-sized models

Retrieval and rules first. Generation only where it finishes the job.

Less waste in the queue

Repeat contacts are an energy and a time cost. Stopping them is the efficiency plan.

What we are building next

The lab works on problems customers still feel: answers that disagree with each other, risk that never becomes a ticket, and handoffs that drop the thread.

Evaluation

We score whether the customer’s problem ended, not whether the reply sounded fluent.

Privacy boundaries

Account data resolves that customer’s case. It is not open material for training.
